Yesterday’s thrifting!
Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett, I never read a book by Terry Pratchett but I know that he and Neil Gaiman wrote Good Omens together - I figure Neil Gaiman has good taste!
The Doll People by Ann M. Martin, Laura Godwin, Brian Selznick (illustrator) I picked this up mostly because I love Brian Selznick’s books and illustrations. He did The Invention of Hugo Cabret which is all around beautiful.
Freaks of the Heartland by Steve Niles, only issue 4 (which makes me sad because I would have loved to own them all). You might be familiar with Steve as he wrote 30 Days of Night.
Marvels by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross, Alex Ross is a wonderful artist (main reason I picked up this comic book)
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, Susanna’s name seemed familiar to me and I found out she has a plethora of books!
What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson, which we picked up mostly because the movie is terribly beautiful. I found out later that Richard also wrote I Am Legend (another classic) and Button Button: Uncanny Stories which inspired the movie The Box.
