adamhowardcross answered your question: Who is the best children’s author ever?

pretty sure Roald Dahl would be near the top of anyone’s list

Actually, I was thinking about doing my project on him, but I’m so torn! Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr. Fox… umpf… literary genius.

However, I want to write about J.K. Rowling because

1. She’s a woman and I’m entirely biased and

2. She has created a beautiful world.

But…. I’m not sure how many of my peers will pick her and if there will be too many Rowling’s walking around.

I originally intended on doing my project about R. L. Stine but I heard someone else say they were doing it.

can you not find places online to buy things and have it posted to you?

Oh I needed the ingredients immediately, and I didn’t realize that simple ingredients were unavailable. :(

However, I found a Middle Eastern restaurant and just ordered food from them rather than making my own :)

if you want good horror you only have to watch Japanese horror films, there’s a reason the US keeps remaking them :)

My sister and I are horror fanatics so we both absolutely agree with you. However, I always lie to myself and think: This time… maybe the US finally did it right.

It never happens.

They don’t put J-horror onto the big screen (locally) and I thoroughly enjoy movie theaters so I’ll find any reason to go (even if it will result in disappointment). Too bad they didn’t do foreign film nights… now that would be lovely.
