Every year, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day presents us with an opportunity to renew our commitment to serving our communities.
On Monday, President Obama, Michelle Obama and First Book helped to refurbish a local elementary school library in Washington DC. Together with a large group of volunteers, they cleaned, painted and organized 600 books donated to the school by First Book.
First Book was pleased to be a part of the First Family’s Day of Service.
