while studying ancient afrikan culture i’m forced to ask myself what makes history written on paper more valid than history carved in stone?

our ancestors spent thousands of years documenting life for us to remember in order to assist us through time and space. we’ve gone out of our way to deny it. suddenly the term “stay solid” takes on a new meaning. 

I was writing with my heart, not my keyboard. I was writing what I felt should be written.
